Scrap metal are mixtures of waste metal or any material that contains metals or has metallic features. This scrap metal is then recycled and undergoes smelting and further processing to be used in the making of goods and other materials. Non-ferrous and ferrous metals from appliances, building materials, vehicles, and others hold the potential of being recycled as scrap metal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scrap metals possess a great deal of worth in the market as it often carries with it the connotation of helping create a more sustainable economy and environment. As they can be reused and recycled perpetually, it is often a key element in the manufacturing industry\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Determining non-ferrous and ferrous metals<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>

Identifying if a metal is ferrous or non-ferrous is a fundamental stage in the recycling process at our company. A ferrous metal is a metal in which a large percentage of it is composed of iron. On the contrary, a non-ferrous metal does not have a substantial amount of iron in its composition. By using a magnet, a ferrous metal will be attracted to it whereas a non-ferrous metal would not be attracted.<\/span><\/p>\n
